The Crafting Faith and Community-Based Development Conference brought together more than 125 leaders of different ecumenical denominations in and around Los Angeles for a day of discussion and information exchange about ways to develop and finance faith-based community economic development (CED) projects for small business and affordable housing. Melody Winter Nava of the FRBSF delivered the welcome remarks at the start of the event. The panel discussions were led by prominent CED for-profit and non-profit developers and a host of faith leaders. The Levitical Network will convene follow-up capacity building trainings at various faith venues in Los Angeles.
