Join us at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco to mark the milestone 50,000th printed copy of Investing in What Works for America’s Communities: Essays on People, Place, and Purpose. The essays in What Works have inspired exciting new community development projects across the country and spurred innovative solutions to increase opportunity and economic mobility for all.

To celebrate these initiatives, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and the Low Income Investment Fund are pleased to host an evening reception on June 9 and half-day conference on June 10 to reflect on the themes of What Works and hear policy makers, practitioners, investors, and others discuss what’s working in their communities and how their efforts are shaping the future of anti-poverty work in the United States.
