Overview
Led by strong real estate, technology, life sciences, and construction sectors, Utah is experiencing one of its longest economic expansions and has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country. The SF Fed has had a presence in Utah since 1918 when the Salt Lake City branch office first opened. Today, the branch serves as a cash operations site for the region. Branch staff members also serve the state with expertise spanning regional, business, and community outreach, financial institution supervision and credit, police services, and application development.
