Carolyn Fischer holds joint appointments as professor of environmental economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and as Canada 150 Research Chairholder in Climate Economics, Innovation and Policy at the University of Ottawa. She is also a senior fellow with Resources for the Future (RFF) and with the European Institute of Environmental Economics (EIEE). She is currently a Council Member for the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE). She serves on expert advisory boards for the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC–Berlin), the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), Economics for Energy, and Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).
This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
