In 2012, the Community Development department launched the Visiting Scholars program to broaden and enhance our research capacity by drawing on the expertise of leaders in the field who have demonstrated a profound impact on community development. Visiting Scholars engage with department staff to share experiences and best practices from the field, advise current and proposed initiatives, and share their research with community development stakeholders.
