In 1999 Reyer Gerlagh received his PhD in economics. From 2000-2005, he was on a prestigious scholarship by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). From 2006 to 2009, he held a chair in Environmental Economics at University of Manchester, UK. Since 2009, he is Professor of Economics at Tilburg University. From 2011 to 2014, he was coordinating lead author of the fifth assessment report of the IPCC, WGIII.
This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
