Professor Groom holds the Dragon Capital Chair in Biodiversity Economics at the London School of Economics and is a member of the HM Treasury Biodiversity Working Group. His research focuses on the role of climate change, biodiversity and intergenerational equity for public policy and social decision-making, and has been published in leading scientific journals such as Science, Nature, and the Economic Journal. Professor Groom holds a PhD in economics from the Department of Economics at University College London.
This seminar is part of the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics series hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and is open to everyone interested in research on the economics of climate change.
