San Francisco, CA – The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has announced the appointments of Bob Hazleton, president of The Herrick Corporation; James Healy, chief executive officer of Digital Disbursements; Eric L. Kelly, chairman and chief executive officer of Overland-Tandberg; Paul A. King, president and chief executive officer of Stanford Children’s Health and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford; and Sergio Retamal, chief executive officer of Global4PL, to the Bank’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC).
Mr. Hazleton is the president of The Herrick Corporation, a steel fabrication and erection company. He began working at Herrick in 2002. He previously worked as the company’s contracts manager and vice-president. Prior to joining Herrick, he worked for subsidiaries of Herrick and worked as a certified welder and mechanic.
Mr. Healy is chief executive officer of Digital Disbursements, and the founder of JFH Capital, an investment firm focused on the business services segment. He previously worked at Icahn Automotive Group (IAG) where he held various leadership roles, and at FastPay. He is an adjunct professor teaching financial technology (fintech) at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, a board member of Bingeable Network, and an advisor to Haven, a real estate fintech firm. Mr. Healy has a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and earned an MBA from Georgetown University.
Mr. Kelly is the chairman and chief executive officer of Overland-Tandberg, a global technology company that develops and manufactures hybrid cloud IT infrastructure and data protection solutions. With over thirty years of experience, Mr. Kelly was appointed by President Obama to the Executive Office of the President of The United States Counsel of Advisors on Science, Technology and Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Steering Committee. Mr. Kelly is currently the chairman of the board of San Jose State University’s Tower Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from San Jose State University, and an MBA from San Francisco State University.
Mr. King joined Stanford Children’s Health and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, part of the Stanford University Health system, as president and chief executive officer in 2019. He previously led the University of Michigan’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital as Executive Director. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Nebraska, at Lincoln and a master’s degree in Health care Administration from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. Mr. King also is a Certified Medical Practice Executive.
Mr. Retamal is the CEO and Founder of Global4PL, a supply chain operations and consulting services company. Previously, he led planning and leading global supply chain strategies for companies such as Sun Microsystems, Ryder Integrated Logistics, Cost Plus, and Micropolis. Mr. Retamal holds a master’s degree in change management from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business, plus an MBA and bachelor’s degree in international business from California State University, Northridge.
