
Lizzy Mattiuzzi, Ph.D.
Community Development Research Advisor
Lizzy Mattiuzzi is a community development research advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. She studies regional and multi-sector collaboration and governance around economic opportunity for low- and moderate-income communities. Her research at the SF Fed includes work on housing affordability, poverty trends, nonprofit services, and disaster planning in metropolitan regions and other geographies. Lizzy completed a Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a master’s degree in urban geography from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
